11:30 AM - 12:30 PM MBA - ACG Case Competition Information Session

All,

The Pittsburgh chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) has been a partner with the Katz MBA program for a number of years. You may recall each month receiving invitations to attend events held by the organization (the most recent being a presentation by the CEO of Sheetz, Inc.). I am very pleased to inform you that the Pittsburgh ACG chapter is in the process of putting together a multi-school case competition. Similar case competitions in other regions of the country have been very successful. You are invited to attend the information session on Thursday,  December 3, 2009 from 11:30am - 12:30pm in room 117 Mervis.

Details of the case competition as follows:

The ACG Cup is a case study competition designed to give students from leading MBA programs across the country real world experience and invaluable insights into mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, financial advisory and private equity.

Benefits to Students:

- Exposure to leading finance professionals and organizations in the region.

- Opportunity to learn about corporate finance by looking at a transaction from the perspective of the owner, the buyer, the financial advisor, the equity investors, the debt providers and the management team.

- Highly realistic case study provides unique, relevant experience in a team-oriented setting.

I will look forward to seeing you at the information session.

Have a good weekend.

Best,

Bill
